IPC/WHMA-A-620 was developed by the IPC Product Assurance Committee and the WHMA Industrial Technology Steering Committee (ITGC) to provide unified acceptance standards and specifications for Harness wires, cables, and harnesses from manufacturers around the world or customer needs. The standard content covers wire preparation, soldering terminals,crimp terminals (joints and lugs), insulation penetration connections, ultrasonic welding, splicing, connector connections, compression molding/injection molding, measurement of cable assemblies and conductors, marking/Standards related to labeling, coaxial and twin axial cable assemblies, fastening, harness/cable electrical shielding, cable/harness shielding, finished component installation, solderless wrap, testing, etc.
The quality of all wires we ship meets the IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard inspection specifications.
